Impedance converter, resistive impedance converter or minimum loss impedance converter are RF components with the same function. These components solve the relatively common problems in the application of some equipment, components and equipment with different standard impedance.
When the load impedance is not equal to the characteristic impedance of the transmission line, or when two transmission lines with different characteristic impedance are connected, reflection will occur. The function of impedance converter is to solve the matching between microwave transmission lines and microwave devices.
